The LBA was formed in honour of Cheryl Sauer, a young female who passed away just days after her 22rd birthday from a three year battle with cancer. Throughout this time Cheryl was often found in the Allan Blair Children's Center acting as a role model to other children who were experiencing the same pain and fears. In addition, she often assisted the families making every attempt to make their days a little bit brighter.
