FCC National Food Drive

FCC Drive Away Hunger
Through Drive Away Hunger, FCC and its partners across Canada collect food and financial donations for food banks. Roughly 850,000 Canadians rely on food banks each year. About 38 per cent of them are children. There is a clear and pressing need for food in this country and Drive Away Hunger helps address it.
This is our ninth year for Drive Away Hunger, and so far with the help of our partners we’ve collected more than 7.8 million pounds of food throughout Canada. This year’s goal is to collect one million pounds of food and $500,000.
This year, FCC Drive Away Hunger tours will take place October 11 in Regina and October 15 to 19 in New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and in southern Saskatchewan. FCC is also collecting food and cash donations in each of our field offices from September 24 to October 19. All donations go to Canadian food banks.
