In 2007 the Investors Group/Paradigm Consulting Golf Tournament for United Way celebrated 16 years of raising awareness and funds for our community. Food, Fun and Fancy Cars!

Developed under the leadership of Tom Jackson, Swinging for Supper combines Tom’s love of golf and live music. The events raise money and awareness for food banks and agencies meeting the needs of at-risk youth. 

On July 28th, Tom Jackson and his band will be hosting a summer concert as part of the Swinging for Supper Golf Tournament. All registered golfers will have an opportunity to enjoy the concert as part of the overall tournament experience. Due to the popularity of Tom and his fellow performers, the concert will be open to the community as well. The concert will take place on the evening prior to the Swinging for Supper Golf Tournament and all proceeds from the concert will be used to support the work of the Food Bank.

Bring your blanket and settle in for movie night in the Park. Fresh Air Cinemas will be hosting a series of movies at Wascana Park throughout the summer. Check them out June 13th & 14th at Children's Festival and then June 20th, June 21st and July 25th and 26th at Wascana Park. Each movie will start at Dusk. The 2008 Regina Folk Festival is coming up August 8,9 & 10 in Victoria Park, Saskatchewan, Canada. Artists from all around the world will come together for two days and three evenings of music, art and culture in historic Victoria Park.
