The Grey Cup Ring Thing

    Yes, most people in Saskatchewan hold the concept of winning a Grey Cup ring up with having a their first child or winning a lottery. It is very important and if you are blessed with the honor you should hold that memory, and all the memorabilia that goes with it, near and dear to your heart. Yet… we forget that the universe does not end at our boarders. Some of our players come from different places and the “Grey Cup” to them is just another trophy for wining just another game… another shift at work per say. To these people a Grey Cup ring is just another piece of jewelry and if required can be liquidated in times of need.
    So let us not judge said individual… who knows their circumstances? We can only hope that they are not dire. In fact those of use who worship such articles as Grey Cup rings could take advantage of this situation and purchase this wonderful piece of our history… Lord know that’s the only why I’d ever get one.
