Luther College

   To all those who were exposed to such an act of violence, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.  The terror the students and families of Luther College must have felt yesterday as the hostage situation unfolded would be incomprehensible…. But let no “Pinko Lefty” start to exploit this issue by saying what happened had anything to do with gun control. If an over-the-counter pellet gun was the worst weapon this deranged young man could get his hands on… then our gun laws are working. This is an issue of a mentally troubled child slipping through the cracks, and that’s the issue Luther College and our community should be focusing on.
