"Heroes" Hurts My Brain

Last night when Sylar had Claire’s (the cheerleader) head ripped off and was sticking his finger in her brain I could empathize with the characters pain. I have watched every episode of “Heroes”, but because of the confusion of the writers strike last year missed the last two episodes. In past years the creators of the show would have run the last two episodes too get everyone up to speed… Unfortunately with the success of TV series DVD sales… I have to buy season 2 to get the last 2 episodes… I know exactly how a finger in the brain feels… just trying to figure out what is happening on my new favorite show.
I have forgotten the 1981-82 season of Mash and most of Magnum PI just trying to make room in my brain for, quite possible, the most confusing plot on TV… Now I thought “Lost” got me “Lost”… but can we just have some resolution at the end of an episode… I guess that’s it, the plot to Heroes is not that confusing, it’s just that it keeps getting deeper each week. Unlike House (my other favorite drama) where each episode gives me a nugget of the larger plot combined with a nice little sup-plot for drama or comedy, Heroes just keeps getting deeper… When watching a movie I love being submerged in the deep waters of a plot… but this is TV people! I don’t mind wearing my rubber boots when engaging in TV plot… but Heroes requires a life jacket and rations… yet I still watch…?
