The Comings and Goings...

Here's wishing Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry a speedy recovery.  The band is getting set for some concert dates at home in Massachusetts, where he was rear-ended on his 2009 Ducati Monster 696.  Perry was treated and released so it must not be too serious.  The 62 year old woman behind the wheel of the car has been cited for following too closely.

David Gilmour and Roger Waters recently reunited for a charity gig, playing three songs together to a stunned audience of only 200. Now Waters says that one of the conditions of that show was that Gilmour agreed to join him for one of the stops on his The Wall tour. Waters says Gilmour will show up for just one show on the tour, but the date and location remain a mystery. The decision remains up to Gilmour, who will show up for the one show where and when it's convenient for him.  Roger Waters kicks off the North American portion of his tour with three shows in Toronto September 15th, 16th and 18th.  There are Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver dates planned as well.
