Hard to believe it was one year ago - June 25, 2009.

First, news of Farrah Fawcett's death broke. 

Then, mere hours later, Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest after an overdose on a cocktail of prescription drugs, and died.

If you watch TV regularly you may have seen the new Old Spice commercial “The Man Your Man Can Smell Like”. The great smelling man is former footballer Isaih Mustafa. Hilarious!! The ad justifiably won hardware at the Independent Commercial Producers Awards including Best single commercial, and for Humor and Performance/Dialogue. The same director and production company also won for “Replacement” for Fruit by the Foot. All this year’s honorees are available for viewing at www.aicpshow.com Here's the Old Spice spot:

The future of shopping is (almost) here!  Imagine - no fitting rooms, lengthy waits, limited items.  For those of us with limited time its brilliant.  Guys will love it too.  This is my kind of shopping!

This safety message is beautifully done.  Simple, efficient and impactul.   There's a lot of reasons to buckle up.

You work hard, you do what you're supposed to, you take all the right precautions and still - you get burned - sunburned, that is. A new U.S. study says only 8 per cent of sunscreens currently on the market make the cut for safety and most of the rest are the modern equivalent of snake oil. What's more, more than half contain dangerous additives and chemicals that are particularly risky for children, the non-profit Environmental Working Group, a U.S. lobby group said in its 2010 Sunscreen Guide. Exaggerated SPF claims top the list of reasons sunscreens failed to make the cut.
