Eddie OK, Van Halen Not So Much

So a report from People magazine quotes Eddie Van Halen's ex Valerie Bertinelli that Eddie is "ok", is not in rehab and is sober. She didn't go into specifics about what exactly is wrong, but told People that Eddie is being proactive about getting help.
That being said, the last word on the current tour has it being placed on hold until April 19 when they are scheduled to play Las Vegas. The new dates for the postponed shows are said to be in the works and will be released as soon as they are confirmed.
Up until recently, the tour defied my expectations and seemed to be going well as I never thought the gargantuan egos of David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen could fit in the same concert hall, never mind the same room. Shows were sold out and there were a lot of good reviews.
Just before the postponements started there was talk about Eddie’s playing not being up to it's usual standards and the possibility that there were internal issues causing strife in the group. Time will tell how long the "reunion" tour goes (I put reunion in quotes because I still remember the days where a "reunion tour" meant the original members got back together - "Paging Michael Anthony").
