Robert Plant Opposes Reunion Tour

Well, it seems that Robert Plant is going to be too busy touring with Alison Krauss and the lure of $200 million bucks isn't enough to change his mind.

According to London's Sunday Mirror, Robert Plant has turned down an offer of 100 million pounds (about $200 million) to finish what they started at the O2 concert last year.  Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and possibly even the late John Bonham's son Jason all seem keen to continue, but Robert might have turned Led Zeppelin in Dead Zeppelin.

This makes me very sad - Zep has long been one of my favorite groups and I was looking forward to incurring a hefty Visa bill to see them live.  But perhaps after Plant has finished his commitment with Krauss, you never know.

Hope springs eternal, but don't hold your breath...

Keep on rockin' in the free world,

Scotty

Rockin' weekend

I just wanted to let you know how much you are rockin' my world this weekend with the non-stop Led Zep.

I too am worried about this "leave it as a legacy" thing. What about us poor suckers who couldn't be in the Uk for this wonderous event?

I am prepared to put myself into some serious debt to see them live... and I think I am not alone on this!

I think it's just a distraction to get everybody's mind off of it, then they can rehearse in private before announcing their tour.

They will gig as Led

They will gig as Led Zeppelin as soon as Plant is done with his prior committments. All of us LedHeads will be racking up the plastic as soon as they announce it. See you all in the floor seating area.

Man - I so hope you are

Man - I so hope you are right, but the "leave the O2 show as our legacy" thing kinda has me worried...

Keep on rockin' in the free world,
