Riders

Good news out of Rider practice today as the rumours were that DJ Flick, Andy Fantuz and (are you ready for this?) Matt Dominguez were dressed and practicing. 

This is hitting me harder than I thought it would.

What a sad day for Riderville and the CFL. 

So, a huge trade on Saturday sees Michael Bishop coming from the Argos to the Riders for a conditional draft pick in 2011.

Well, well, well...

Here we are after week 4 of the young CFL season and the Riders are at 4-0.  All of the so-called experts (see: TSN) who had picked the Riders to struggle this year are getting ready to sit down for a big helping of crow.

I gotta admit, I'm really stoked about the new season - a lot of so-called sports "experts" have written off the Riders this year with the same mantra - "they lost their head coach, the MOP QB, blah blah blah" - these are the same guys that wrote us off last year - "they have a rookie head coach and an unproven QB, blah blah blah".
